Job Summary:
The Lighting Supervisor oversees lighting across all venues for the season. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Lighting Supervisor manages a Lighting Technician and works collaboratively with them to execute all lighting-related tasks from designing the rep plot, coordinating rentals with outside vendors, loading in, cueing each show, running each show, and loading out. All of our presentations across the professional and Training Program season are in development, and therefore require flexibility, patience, and a can-do attitude. Some projects may require a lot of support, some may require a simpler “lights up, lights down” approach, and some projects may provide their own Lighting Designer. An ideal candidate can adapt quickly and willingly to fit the needs of each individual project.
We are seeking applicants with the following traits: friendly, reliable, possess strong work ethics, have a pleasant, calm demeanor, a can-do attitude, thrive in a fast paced environment, can navigate a multitude of personalities and have a strong sense of humor.
